pulz8 technology is enabling Danish rail operator Lollandsbanen to provide traffic information and infotainment systems to its passengers. Riders on the rail carrier enjoy live TV, free Internet on Board, scheduling updates, GPS and CCTV with real time streaming to the operation centre onboard. The solution delivers up to 16 mb/s, even at speeds of over 100 Km/h. Named Flash-OFDM, the pulz8 technology ensures data transmission with a very low delay rate that eliminates time lag: often experienced using for example, 3G.
