Within the next three years, pulz8 Communications will be supplying the wireless technology that will make the Guangzhou Lines the first in the World where all wireless communication between train and landside is made possible via WLAN.

pulz8 has just landed its first major order, which means delivering the software for the Guangzhou Lines 4 and 5, which is one of the worlds most prestigious train projects right now.

pulz8 will be responsible for the development and implementation of communication solutions for the trains TCS (Train Control System), which will provide a highly reliable wireless connection between train and landside. Traditionally this contact has been established via low frequency radio communication. In Guangzhou pulz8’s job is to make sure, that the train’s wireless communication with the ground for the first time in history is secured by the far more reliable and efficient WLAN technology.
